We have been visitors to Britain almost as long as we can remember and we liked it so much that it became our dearest wish to go and live in England. So, after more than ten years of outside catering in Afternoon and High Teas, cookery workshops and AGA demonstrations, we decided in 2004 that running a Bed and Breakfast in our favourite country was the logical step forward. Advice from friends helped us in our search, and so we found the Old House in Kingsland, or rather, it felt more like it found us. Business kept us in the Netherlands for a while, but in March 2007 we could move to Kingsland, taking our two dogs and three cats with us.
After a period of extensive restoration to this Black-and-White, grade-II listed property, we are now able to receive our guests in very comfortable surroundings and look forward to welcoming you here.
